The annual Agriculture Workshop organized by SFA and Urban Solutions & sustainability Innovation & Enterprise Office (USS IEO) in partnership with Singapore Agro-Food Enterprises Federation Limited (SAFEF), NUS Enterprise and Urban Agriculture Centre of Innovation (UA COI) was successfully held on 10th May 2024 at SFA.
This year, the theme “Understanding Your Farms’s Resource Consumption” had participants and stakeholder discussing and sharing on possibilities to improve resource efficiency and cost savings on farms through innovation and the use of technology.
Our CEO, Mr. Edwin Ong was honoured to be part of the panel discussion. He shared insights on the topic of how the selection and usage of efficient equipment in High-Tech farm can help to reduce the cost of production and how it can improve the off take ability of the produces.
Recently, there have been some news reports about the arising challenge of operating High-Tech farms in Singapore, which has also caused public concerns pertaining to the Singapore government’s 30X30 plan. Many countries across the world including Singapore have been facing cases of High-Tech farm shutting or scaling down . These cases does not imply the total failure of the High-Tech farm industry or technology but are the natural evolution of the market economy forces. In fact, there are still many large corporates in the world that still believed in and have been actively investing in, researching, building and operating High-Tech farms.
The shutting down of High-Tech farms across the globe does not hinder our progress. We strongly believed that through learning from failures, continuous innovation, and investment in the research and development of new technologies, we will be able to make things right. We are confident that in the near future, High-Tech farm will be able to operate with very high efficiency and cost of production will be able to improve the economics that is crucial for the existence of such farm.
Arianetech will continue to work with stakeholder to enable these High-Tech farms to optimize their resource consumption especially in Super Efficient LED lighting technology and to provide solutions of affordable automation to reduce the cost of production.

Mr. Edwin Ong was invited to speak at the 4th Shizuoka-Singapore Agri Food Forum as the Key Note speaker.
This annual forum, held physically for the first time in Numazu, Shizuoka Prefecture shows the strong bond between Shizuoka Prefecture and Singapore to promote bilateral cooperation in Agri Food production and technology exchange.
Thank you ITE and Shizuoka Prefecture Government for the invitation.

We would like to thanks our supporters and believers in our work for building an more efficient vertical farming system.
We have demonstrated how our latest generation of LED grow lights can bring down the cost of indoor farming by reducing the direct and indirect energy consumption. Coupled with our advanced control system where the user will be able to control not only our LEDs, irrigation systems and air flow, it is also capable of providing user with facility climate and production data on it’s dashboard.
Our Autonomous Aerial Drone concept on display, shows how we envision the usage of autonomous technology and the adoption of advanced AI analytics can help the future of vertical farm to be smarter and better.
Thank you for your trust and we look forward to see you again in AFTEA 2024.

During Agriweek Tokyo 2023, Arianetech officially launched our 6th Generation LED grow lights for CEA farm, making it to be one of the most efficient LED grow lights in the world. We also showcased our autonomous pick & retrieve AMR and our High Density Vertical Farming System.
On the last day of the event, Mr.Edwin Ong was interviewed by NHK Japan and he shared our vision for the future of Indoor Farming utilizing autonomous and AI technologies.
